Bengaluru (Karnataka): The Indian Army's ASC Motorcycle Tornadoes are used to riding their bikes into the ring of fire. The other day, Army captain Shivam Singh attempted to ride his 'bullet' into the ring of fire for 130 metres to create a new world record. Things went horribly wrong and as a result, he was engulfed in flames. Yet, good fate prevailed and he escaped certain disaster.

While crossing the ring of fire, at a distance of 127 metres, he fell from his bike and was soon engulfed by the flames. Luckily he was wearing a fire retardant suit which saved his life. He suffered a few burn injuries and was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment.

Captain Shivam Singh was not doing the stunt for the first time. A team consists of 38 soldiers along with Shivam had performed the same stunt nine times in two days. During these attempts, the team broke Guinness Book of World Records, Unique World Records, India Book of Records and other records.

Currently, the captain is out of danger and is hospitalised in the city.
