Bengaluru: Two ambulances that arrived on the route of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's road show got stuck in traffic. As a barricade was set up for security reasons, ambulances had to wait on the road till the road show proceeded. Two ambulance vehicles were stuck in the middle of the road near Jayanagar metro station.
As the barricade was put up for Modi's road show, the ambulance had to stay on the road for 10 minutes with its siren and wait for traffic clearance. Though the ambulances were stuck in the traffic right in front of police eyes, the police could not do anything and they had to stand without doing anything. Ambulances had to scramble to get out of the traffic as the police, who were engaged in cordoning, had to give more priority to providing security to the Prime Minister than clearing the traffic.
On the other hand, the BJP on Friday alleged that Congress might misuse the ambulance to disrupt Modi's road show. General Secretary in-charge Communications Congress Jairam Ramesh shared the video and tweeted, "Ambulances stuck, chaos on road! If the PM has any shame left or even an iota of concern for the people of Bengaluru, he would immediately cancel part 2 of the #40km 40 percent roadshow tomorrow. But we all know that all he cares for is his Grand Tamasha!"

It may be noted that the Prime Minister was holding a roadshow in Bengaluru on Saturday, crossing about a dozen assembly segments. Hence, the authorities concerned issued an advisory to denizens asking them to avoid roads where the PM takes out the massive roadshow.
