Bengaluru: Women's innerwear in the colours of the flag of Karnataka has sparked protests in the southern state. The garment was listed with images on the website of e-commerce giant Amazon.
As the row started images of the innerwear by the brand BKDMHHH were taken down.
A few days ago another controversy hit the state after Google search engine described Kannada as the ugliest language before the tech major apologized for the mistake.

In a sharp attack on Amazon, Minister for Forests Aravind Limbavali in a Twitter post urged for an end to insults at Kannada. He said it's a matter of self-pride and such incidents cannot be tolerated. He also sought legal action against Amazon.
Karnataka Rakshana Vedike President Praveen Shetty said he was saddened by the Kannda flag coloured innerwear. He urged the state's Chief Minister and the Home Minister to take stringent action against the offenders. He also demanded an apology from Amazon to the people of Karnataka.
