Bangalore: IT raid on Karnataka former DCM Dr G Parameshwar's house has come to an end today.
Reacting on the IT raid over the last two days, Parameshwar said, I went to Tumkur on Oct 10 morning.
Around 30 locations connected to Parameshwara have been searched during the raids. The senior Congress leader has been implicated in a case involving a trust that was accused of amassing a large sum of black money for medical admission.
According to reports, a four-member team also conducted search and seizure operations at Siddhartha Group of Institutions, which is owned by Parameshwara, in Tumakuru.
Parameshwara said he was not aware of the raid. "I don't know where they are doing it. Let them search I have no issue. If there is any fault from our side, we will rectify it," he told reporters.
On the other hand, there is information that I have received 3000 crores kickback. I was shocked hearing this, this is an utter lie, it added.
Properties owned by former deputy chief minister (DCM) of Karnataka and Congress leaders G Parameshwar were raided by the Income Tax (IT) sleuths on Thursday, October 10.
A trust which is accused of taking black money for admissions to medical is connected to Dr G Parameshwar.
