Marceline Saldana, a 100-year-old woman in Karnataka's Bengaluru has recovered from coronavirus. She has now become the oldest woman to beat the deadly virus in the state.

Bengaluru: A 100-year-old woman has recovered from COVID-19 here, making her Karnataka's oldest survivor of the deadly virus.

Marceline Saldana was admitted to Victoria Hospital on June 18 after testing positive for COVID-19. She won the battle against the virus in just 9 days.

Now she has become the oldest corona patient discharged from the hospital after recovering from corona in Karnataka.

Meanwhile, another 100-year-old woman in Indore had recovered from the deadly coronavirus. She was welcomed by her neighbors when she returned home after winning the battle against COVID-19 on May 21.

Chanda Bai’s neighbours gave a round of applause when she returned from hospital.
