Ramgarh (Jharkhand): Two army jawans were stabbed and injured on Sunday in Ramgarh's Barkakana railway station during the arrival of Rajdhani Express on the platform. The altercation happened between the army personnel over some issue and one of the jawans took out a knife and started attacking his companion. Two army jawans were injured in the fight. The injured army jawans have been identified as Sukh Sagar Singh and Yaduvendra Singh.

The passengers waiting for the train on the platform were clueless about what was happening all of a sudden. Due to this, a stampede like situation occurred at the Barkakana station. Later, the RPF and GRP personnel posted on duty pacified the warring parties and admitted the injured jawans to Railway Hospital Barkakana for first aid. Information about the incident was also conveyed to the officers of the Sikh Regimental Center located at Ramgarh Cantonment.

Officers from Sikh Regimental Center reached the Barkakana Railway Hospital and took the two injured jawans with them to the Army Hospital for better treatment. However, officials were reluctant to make any statement on this issue so far. The jawans of the Sikh Regiment Center located at Ramgarh Cantonment were going to their respective homes on leave. They were travelling by Rajdhani Express to Delhi for their respective destinations.
