Ranchi (Jharkhand): A case of gang rape has come to the fore in the Mandar police station area of Ranchi. A 13-year-old girl was raped by 7 minor boys late on Thursday night. Regarding this matter, the girl lodged an FIR at Mandar police station on Friday. After which the police took quick action and arrested four out of the seven accused. While three are still absconding.

The girl revealed in the police station that a friend of her acquaintance called her to a place and from there he took her to a secluded place on his bike. His other six friends were already present at that place. The seven raped her in turns. After carrying out the act, the accused dropped her near the house of one of her friends. Where the victim spent the night. After reaching her home in the morning, she informed her family members about the incident. After which the family took her to the police station and lodged an FIR. Taking action, Mandar police have taken four out of seven accused into their custody.
