Ranchi: As public resentment grows over Ladakh standoff with China, three Chinese nationals, residing in Jharkhand capital, were falsely linked to espionage activities, causing panic among local residents.
According to reports, the Chinese citizens staying in an apartment on Kanke Road were alleged to be involved in spy network emanating from China.
Following complaint from the residents, local DSP conducted an inquiry in which it was revealed that all three were employed in a mobile firm for the past three years. In the initial inquiry, it was also revealed that all three had valid passports.
