Ranchi: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) chief Shibu Soren along with his wife Rupi Soren tested positive for coronavirus on Friday.
The former Jharkhand CM was facing health issues from the last few days.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Hemant Soren and other ministers went into self-quarantine after health minister Banna Gupta, who had attended a Cabinet meeting tested positive for coronavirus.
Banna (50), who represents the Jamshedpur (West) assembly segment, is the second minister in the Hemant Soren cabinet to be diagnosed with the virus after state water resources minister Mithilesh Thakur tested positive in July.
The Chief Minister had self-isolated himself as a precaution then and took a test that came out negative.
