Ranchi: The grand alliance of opposition parties in Jharkhand has not yet reached a consensus over seat distribution as the Congress and the Jharkhand Vikas Morcha both wantto contest from the Godda Lok Sabha constituency.
While Congress aims to field its veteran Furkan Ansari from Godda, JVM has demanded to field its general secretary Pradeep Yadav from the seat.
Speaking to Etv Bharat, Furkan Ansari said, "If we get tired here fighting for the ticket how will we fight during the elections."
"Congress should decide who should contest from Godda seat, it should solve the tussle and offer the seat to the best candidate," he added.
When asked who will step back, Ansari said that no one wants to leave the Godda seat.
