Dhanbad (Jharkhand): Dipesh Gaurav, a BTech student from Putki Balihari in Dhanbad district, better known as the coal capital of the country, has transformed the Balakot Air Strike and the brave antics of Captain Abhinandan into a video game, with the help of his 15-member team.
This has become a subject of discussion across the country. All students who are creators of this game are residents of Jharkhand.
Dipesh Gaurav, a BTech student who heads the video game-creating team, told ETV India that he was studying in Bhubaneswar. However, due to the lockdown, he had to return home. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave the countrymen a new slogan of ‘Vocal for Local’. The PM also appealed to the youth to make video games dedicated to the Indian culture and army. On the PM's appeal, he contacted 15 other BTech students living in different areas of the state and then started working on his project. There were obstacles along the way but they overcame those by seeking help and advice from experts in India and abroad.
Finally, they succeeded in making the video game. Claim to be the first video game created by the youth of Jharkhand, Gaurav says that his video game is the first video game made by any Jharkhandi youth. He named it ‘Strike and Encounter Formation by Abhinandan’. However, the story of Abhinandan has been changed slightly in the video game. In this, Captain Abhinandan does not come under the control of the Pakistani Army, but enters the enemy camp, annihilates them and returns with Indian documents.
Appeal for help
According to the SENA game creator, this game can be played on A computer, but he wishes to soon launch the game on Android so that many people can enjoy it. Dipesh has appealed to the government to give them incentives such as those given to startups so that all of them can work further on this. He said that after the launch, people will be able to download it easily from GauravGo Technologies website.
Dipesh's father used to get angry when he played games
Dipesh’s success has made everyone in his family and his neighbourhood very happy and excited. According to Dipesh's father, Gopal Prasad, earlier he used to get annoyed with his son when he saw him engaged in video games day and night, but now, he is proud of his achievement.
He has appealed to the Prime Minister requesting the government to encourage the talent of these children so that they can move further ahead in this field and make a name for them and for the country.
