Ranchi: The Jharkhand High Court on Friday postponed the bail plea hearing of former Bihar Chief Minister and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav convicted in the fodder scam case.
During the hearing, the CBI advocate demanded time from the court to submit an answer on Prasad's bail plea to which Judge Aparesh Kumar Singh complied.
He then scheduled the next hearing for November 27.

Lalu Prasad who is serving a jail term for Dumka treasury case had put in a bail plea in the Jharkhand High Court stating that he has already served half of the punishment given to him. Therefore, he should be given bail.
