New Delhi: The newly elected four ministers in Hemant Soren-led Mahagathbandhan (Grand Alliance) in Jharkhand from Congress on Tuesday met the party working president Sonia Gandhi here and discussed various political matters with her.
While talking to ETV Bharat, Rameshwar Oraon, Jharkhand finance minister said that it was a courtesy meeting and they met her for the first time after the coalition government was formed in the state in order to express their gratitude and discuss the issue of party membership drive including others.
He further said that they also discussed the promises that were in the party manifesto that was made during the elections and all the promises will be fulfilled during coming days.
Further talking about the membership drive, the minister said that they also discussed the ways as to how to increase the party membership in the state as from last time and to help the party make a stronghold in the state.
