Jharkhand: Residents of Tilwana village, situated in East Singhbum of Jharkhand, are facing a peculiar and 'supernatural' problem!
The recent death of four persons of a family, which was reportedly linked to passing of their elder brother, 30 years ago, crippled the local residents with fear.
The villagers attribute the sudden deaths to a ghost, which they opined was focusing its attention on that particular family.
Following these untimely deaths, remaining family members abandoned the house and relocated to another village.
One of the family member - Gurdas Tudu, believes that a malevolent spirit is responsible for the deaths, including his elder brother - Sunil Tudu, who died 30 years ago.
He also claimed that they have been receiving electric shocks, supposedly administered by the ghost. Hence, in this constant panic, they left the village giving rise to a wide range of rumours.
Though there was no explanation why the ghost had targeted the family, the incidents have instilled a sense of fear among the local residents.
Rumours have been rife and the villagers focused their explanations on some 'supernatural power', which was responsible for deaths.
Police officials, who had received the information about the incident, reached the village and examined the house.
After inspecting the situation, they downplayed the claims of an evil spirit and said that it was nothing but a superstition of the locals.
