"When the Deputy Commissioner offered me a job from the hospital, I instantly said yes as I was ready to take up any job to support my family. I then went to the DC office, where I was given the appointment letter. I will join duty from Monday," Khatoon said.

The deputy commissioner said that it was sad that the youngster, who is good at her sport, was forced to struggle so much for livelihood.

"But now, she will work as an OPD coordinator at Jala hospital. So that she doesn't have to compromise on her game, her appointment letter also promises that the hospital will sponsor her for future tournaments," Kumar said.

Further, Kumar thanked the media for bringing the story to light, and also expressed gratitude to the hospital for helping the budding archer.
