Ranchi (Jharkhand): State Congress leader Deepika Pandey Singh tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday following which she quarantined herself at her residence here on doctor's advice.
She shared the information on her Twitter handle.
"COVID-19 report of me and my family has come positive. I have met several people during the last few days. Doctors have advised me to put myself under home quarantine. I request all those who came in contact with me to take necessary precautions," her tweet read in Hindi.
She also appealed to all those who came in her contact to quarantine themselves in order to avoid the risk of infection.
