Ranchi (Jharkhand): BJP MLAs of Jharkhand held a protest today on the issue of allotting a separate room for Namaz in the Jharkhand assembly. The party has alleged that the Hemant Soren government is doing a policy of appeasement. To please the people of a particular religion, the government has taken such a step which is not right.

Protesting against this decision, the BJP demonstrated in a unique way outside the Legislative Assembly on the second day of the monsoon session. Before the commencement of the proceedings of the House, BJP MLAs protest for an hour, singing bhajans and kirtans with musical instruments. The chief whip of the opposition party Biranchi Narayan and Amar Kumar Bauri also fiercely slammed the speaker for issuing the order. BJP is also demanding that a temple of Bajrang Bali should be built in the assembly.

Earlier, the Jharkhand Assembly Speaker has issued a letter with the signature of Deputy Secretary Naveen Kumar, in which a room has been allotted in the Assembly for offering Namaz.
