Reacting to JD(U) wanting to contest from one of the seats, the party's lone MP said it should concentrate on Bihar assembly elections as that is more significant for them.

He, however, said that the NDA, under the leadership of Nitish Kumar, will form the next government in Bihar.

The AJSU, which despite being a part of the BJP-led NDA alliance, had contested last Jharkhand assembly elections independently and secured 17000 votes on Bermo assembly seat, wants to contest once again from the same seat despite BJP asking for its support on both the seats.
