'Shab-e-Qadr': Holy night of Ramadan observed in J-K's Doda

On the occasion of holy 'Shab-e-Qadr, Muslims in Jammu and Kashmir spent their night offering special prayers, reciting the holy Quran and other religious rituals at mosques and in their houses. Also known as 'Lailat-ul-Qadr, it is the holiest and most blessed night for Muslims in the month of Ramadan.

Doda: Holy 'Shab-e-Qadr', the holiest and most blessed night for Muslims in the month of Ramadan, was observed in various parts of Jammu and Kashmir's Doda district on Saturday night with due solemnity and religious fervour.

'Shab-e-Qadr': Holy night of Ramadan observed in J-K's Doda

Muslim devotees spent the night seeking divine blessings for peace and prosperity in the country and for the Muslim community.

Also known as 'Lailat-ul-Qadr', Muslims pray to seek forgiveness at this night.

Devout Muslims usually spend the night offering special prayers, recitations of holy Quran and other religious rituals at mosques and in their houses.

On this occasion, special prayers were observed for the peace, prosperity, brotherhood in the trouble torn state of Jammu and Kashmir.
