Pak violates ceasefire along LoC, Indian Army retaliates

Pakistan Army reportedly violated ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC). This comes after an intel on a terrorist group, reportedly, planning to carry out a major terror attack on the Indian soil, and the deployment of 100 companies of paramilitary groups in the Kashmir Valley.

New Delhi: Pakistan Army on Sunday violated ceasefire along the LoC in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. According to the army, the firing of small arms and intense shelling with mortars was reported.

According to sources, the Indian Army fired back at Pakistan's unprovoked ceasefire violations along the Line of Control (LoC).

According to the Army, the firing across the border started at around 5 pm in Shahpur and Saujiyan sectors in Poonch district.

Earlier on July 23, Pakistan had violated ceasefire along the LoC at Poonch, Krishna Ghati, Mankote and Mendhar sectors in Poonch district.
