"Police personnel from Kupwara along with Srinagar police took both sons into custody and later took them to Kupwara," a family member said.
Although police didn't divulge any details for the arrest of Mujahid and Raashid, officials close to the development claim "the duo have been arrested in connection with a case registered against them on May 6 at the police station in Kupwara's Tekkipora-Sogam.
"On May 6, some people raised provocative slogans and the video went viral on social media. Accordingly, a case was registered against 20 people," the official said.
