Srinagar: After 58 days people in Jammu and Kashmir region are still waiting for restoration of internet connection in the aftermath of abrogation of Article 370 on August 5.
The residents are still disconnected from the outside world as the internet and telecommunication facilities haven't been restored.
With no form of connectivity, usage of smartphones and other electronic devices has been reduced to offline activities like playing games, listening to music and watching videos.
People can be seen indulging in applications that function without an internet connection.
Previously downloaded contents are being circulated among the people through SHAREit app for entertainment.
Although landlines have become functional in the valley, people are waiting for the 'un-digitalised' days to end in Jammu and Kashmir.
