Srinagar: Acting on a credible input, the security forces on Friday launched a cordon and search operation in the Hirpora area of Shopian district in south Kashmir.
During the search operation in the area, the security forces found a militant hideout and recovered various daily essentials.

According to military sources, the army's 62RR launched a search operation in the forests of Hirpora areas on Thursday night.
