Srinagar: The Lieutenant Governor's administration has banned large gatherings on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha in view of a possible third wave of the coronavirus. The administration on Saturday decided not to allow large gatherings for Eid prayers on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, amid fears of a possible third wave of the global coronavirus.
The administration has appealed to the people to follow the guidelines of Coronavirus to avoid crowds while taking care of social distance, wearing masks and washing their hands frequently. The administration has warned that different countries of the world have been hit by the third wave, while the positive cases of Corona are again increasing in different states of the country. In such a case, it is important to be vigilant in the coming days to prevent the further spread of the coronavirus.
