Srinagar: Jammu Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) Fazal Mohammad's personal security officer (PSO) was injured on Monday after he accidentally misfired his gun on his foot in north Kashmir's Baramulla district, officials said. "Today, PSO of Fazal Mohammad accidentally injured himself with his service rifle after misfire resulting bullet wound in his foot. He has been identified as Altaf Hussain Cheechi," a senior police officer said.
He said, "the incident took place at Wahidna Chandoosa area of the district. The injured person has been shifted to nearby hospital al for treatment. And his condition is said to be stable." Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard and an investigation has been started.
