J&K: Property of Hizbul commander demolished in Anantnag

The property of Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) terrorist commander Amir Khan was demolished by the Jammu and Kashmir administration in Anantnag's Pahalgam on Saturday.

J&K: Property of Hizbul commander demolished in Anantnag

Anantnag (Jammu and Kashmir): The property of Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist commander Amir Khan was demolished by the Jammu and Kashmir administration in Anantnag's Pahalgam on Saturday.

A compound wall of Hizb-ul-Mujahdeen commander's residential house was demolished by authorities in South Kashmir's Anantnag district. The Jammu and Kashmir officials carried out the demolition drive in presence of a magistrate at Liver village in Sallar tehsil of Anantnag. A bulldozer was used to demolish the compound wall of Hizb commander Amir Khan alias Ghluam Nabi Khan completely in Liver area of Pahalgam, an official told while talking to ETV Bharat.

Ghulam Nabi Khan alias Aamir Khan alias Saifullah Khalid is the operational commander of Hizb-ul-Mujahdeen and is operating from PoK (Pak occupied Kashmir). Khan, who was as designated terrorist by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs, under UAPA (Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Amendment Act), had crossed over to PoK during 90's. Since then he is operating from PoK.

Officials said that action against the terror commander was demanded by a local panchayat. Following their request, authorities had registered a case against the Hizb commander for encroaching government land.
