First domicile certificate in J&K issued to a Sopore resident

The J&K administration has issued the first domicile certificate in the Union Territory of J&K to a resident of Baramulla district. The process to issue domicile certificates was inaugurated by Lieutenant Governor of J&K G. C. Murmu through e-conferencing wherein Baramulla was chosen as the first district where the process has been initiated.

Baramulla: The first domicile certificate in the Union Territory of J&K was today issued to a resident of Baramulla district thereby e-inaugurating the process across the UT. The drive was inaugurated by Lieutenant Governor of J&K G. C. Murmu through e-conferencing wherein Baramulla was chosen as the first district where the process has been initiated.

Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Dr G N Itoo handed over the certificate to the applicant namely Aaliya Tariq, daughter of Tariq Ahmad Langoo of Sopore, in his office chamber in presence of Tehsildar Sopore, District Informatics Officer Baramulla and other concerned functionaries.
