Srinagar: The families of three people from Budgam who were arrested on charges of involvement in a recent encounter in Delhi, staged a protest in the Press Colony of Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, claiming that the three had gone to Delhi to buy some goods during which they were arrested for being involved in an encounter.
One of the arrested men is 65 years old, whose son said that his father is not a terrorist and is not involved in any crime.

The families questioned whether it is a sin for a Kashmiri to go to any state in India or whether it is a sin to be a Kashmiri while we place non-state residents in our hearts. Meanwhile, some women protestors were demanding the release of their loved ones from the central government.
