Srinagar: On day 42, an International flight with 147 passengers from Jeddah has also arrived at Srinagar Airport. After the resumption of operation of routine domestic flights in Jammu and Kashmir, as many as 21 domestic flights with 2,456 passengers on board reached Jammu and Srinagar airports on Sunday.
A total of 819 passengers onboard 10 regular commercial flights arrived at the Jammu Airport while 12 domestic flights with about 1637 passengers on board landed at Srinagar Airport on Sunday.
After arrival, all the passengers were tested for the coronavirus and transported to their destinations at both the airports amid strict observance of all necessary preventive protocols.
The government has made elaborate arrangements for the arrival, screening, sampling and proper transportation of the passengers to the quarantine centres taking special care of guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) issued by the Union Ministries of Civil Aviation and Health and Family Welfare.
