Cops rescue 3-yr-old during Sopore terrorist attack

During the terrorist attack in Sopore earlier today, the Jammu and Kashmir police saved a three-year-old boy from getting hit by bullets. In a picture, a security personnel can be seen safely carrying the boy in his arms.

Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir): The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Wednesday said that it rescued a three-year-old during the terrorist attack in Sopore town of Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to the police, the three-year-old boy was saved from getting hit by bullets during the terrorist attack.

At least one CRPF jawan and a civilian were killed while two other security force personnel received injuries in the attack today.

The terrorists reportedly opened firing on a naka party of security forces in Sopore, resulting in injuries to three Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans and a civilian, officials said.

They said the injured were shifted to hospital while the area was cordoned off to track down the assailants.
