Baramulla encounter: Indian Army pays tribute to SPO Billal Ahmad

Special Police Officer Billal Ahmad was paid tribute by the Indian Army on 21 Wednesday. Ahmad lost his life in an encounter in North Kashmir's Baramulla district.

Baramulla: The Indian Army paid tribute to Special Police Officer (SPO) Billal Ahmad in Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla district on Wednesday.

Billal Ahmad lost his life in an encounter in North Kashmir's Baramulla district.

The encounter began at around 7:30 pm on August 20 and continued till the next day.

Heavy stone pelting also ensued in the area when the encounter was on.

This is the first security operation undertaken by teams of the Indian Army, J&K Police and the CRPF since August 05.
