Jammu: Rashtriya Bajrang Dal and Shiv Sena workers staged protests on in Jammu on Thursday after People's Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti landed at the Jammu airport in connection with a meeting of the "People's Alliance for Gupkar Declaration".
Right-wing activists protested against Mehbooba Mufti by waving black flags.
The PDP president left for Jammu on Thursday morning in connection with the Gupkar Declaration meeting. The meeting is being held on Saturday at the residence of National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah.

As soon as PDP President Mehbooba Mufti reached Jammu on Thursday, Shiv Sena Bajrang Dal workers staged a protest outside the airport. However, a large contingent of police escorted Mehbooba out of the airport safely.
Besides Dr Farooq and Mehbooba Mufti, People's Conference Chairman Sajjad Gani Lone and CPI(M)'s Muhammad Yousuf Tarigami are also attending the meeting.
