Baramulla: An Army personnel, posted in Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla district, shot himself dead on Sunday, official sources said.
Police said the Army personnel, identified as Parveen Kumar, shot himself with his service rifle.

He was posted at 59 Medium Regiment at Khacharbatrey Company at Veervan area in Sheeri village.
"Police have registered a case in this incident under relevant sections and investigation has been initiated to ascertain the cause of death," a source said.
