Anantnag: Two Jaish-e-Mohammed militants have been killed in an operation by security forces in Jammu and Kashmir. Large quantities of arms were recovered from them, said Sandeep Chaudhry, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP).
An anti-militant operation was launched in Anantnag district in Jammu and Kashmir last evening.
The operation in Kandibara Bijbehara area was suspended last night before it resumed Thursday morning. An exchange of fire was reported around 9 am and reports said the battle continued.
