Srinagar: Altaf Bukhari, president of the new political party 'Jammu and Kashmir Apni party', said that the traditional political parties of Kashmir have been silent on the problems of the people for the last seven months and that is why he has taken the political initiative.
Talking to ETV Bharat, Altaf Bukhari said that there is a public crisis brewing in Kashmir and they formed the political party so that they can find a solution to these problems.

He said that the other political parties have remained silent on the issues faced by the public and are nowhere to be seen.
Altaf Bukhari refused to respond to questions over the Kashmir issue. Any questions over the matter were met with silence.
