Kullu: Snowfall in some parts of Himachal Pradesh has blocked Manali-Leh road, leading to a row of stranding vehicles on both the sides of the road, sources said.
This has affected the movement of security forces as well as that of the common people, they said.
However, recently inaugurated Atal tunnel is proving to be a great blessing for many parts of the state by providing uninterrupted access to several places.
Light snowfall between Khoksar and Sisu Gondola has also affected traffic movement.
Many tourists are also stranded because of the snowfall in the region, the sources said.
Ramesh, a local, said the weather was normal during the night but he was surprised to see snowfall in the morning.
Two to four-inch of snowfall was reported from many parts in the region.
