Shimla (Himachal Pradesh): After a few days of hectic campaigning for the Bihar Assembly elections, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Friday arrived in Himachal Pradesh for a short visit.
According to reports, Rahul took a flight to Chandigarh and travelled by road to Chharabra, where his sister and fellow party colleague Priyanka Gandhi Vadra's bungalow is situated.
Rahul will reportedly stay at his sister's bungalow for two days, and is not scheduled to meet anyone or take part in any party activities.
Priyanka's bungalow is situated in Chharabra, which is situated 13 kilometres away from Shimla and sits at an altitude of 8,000 feet above sea level.
Priyanka and interim Congress president Sonia Gandhi in the past have made multiple visits to Chharabra.
In the most recent visit, Priyanka and a few of her relatives had arrived at Chharabra in August during the coronavirus lockdown after obtaining permission from the administration.
