Bilaspur (Himachal Pradesh): Naresh Kumari, who was working as a sanitation worker Himachal Pradesh's Bilaspur DHH has now become an inspiration for everyone by winning the municipal council election.
Kumari is also a national level handball player, who left her passion and was working as a sanitation worker in the Bilaspur hospital.
For the first time, BJP expressed confidence in a sanitation worker in ward number one of Bilaspur district. After enrollment, Kumari used to do her job first in the hospital and then she used to participate in her campaign.
Speaking to ETV Bharat, Kumari said, "Although I have become a councillor today with the support of the public, I will continue to work as a sanitation worker at the hospital. It is all possible because of my job and now I will do both the duties dedicatedly."
"I will work for the development of my jurisdiction area of my ward honestly. I will work for the community as well as whole ward residents," She said.
Husband died a few years ago
The journey of Naresh Kumari's life is not so easy. Naresh Kumari's husband died in the year 2017. In such a situation, the responsibility of the whole family came upon her.
Naresh Kumari said that after the death of her husband, she went to the district mandi with her children. She used to come to Bilaspur from District Mandi every day to work. In such a situation, she also taught her children and nurtured her family.

Naresh Kumari has also been a former national handball player. She has represented in four national and three state events.
Daughter topper in zoology
Newly elected Councilor Naresh Kumari's daughter topped in the subject of Zoology in Himachal Pradesh. Her daughter is currently posted as a clerk in the Animal Husbandry Department of Bilaspur.
Promoted as Superintendent of sanitation workers
Meanwhile, the officials and employees of Bilaspur hospital are also happy with the success of Naresh Kumari. On Wednesday, Hospital staff honoured her.
On this occasion, Dr NK Bhardwaj congratulated her and gave her a big responsibility of the hospital. Naresh Kumari is now promoted as superintendent of all sanitation workers in District Hospital Bilaspur.
