Chaupal: A child died in Himachal Pradesh after it was attacked by a leopard on Saturday night, reports said.
The one-and-half-year-old child was playing outside its home in Shimla district when it was grabbed by a leopard. Reports said, when people nearby raised an alarm, the leopard abandoned the child nearby before leaving the neighbourhood in Chaupal.
The Nepali child died at a hospital and police said the body will be handed over after a post-mortem.
The incident has caused panic among the people in the area who urged the authorities to find and capture the leopard.
