The animal lovers are undertaking social media campaigns urging people to feed the stray animals who earlier survived on leftovers from restaurants that are now shut due to the lockdown.

According to Pooja, due to the curfew, many times the police do not allow them to leave the house, in such a situation, they appeal to the administration to make curfew pass so that these stray animals can be fed.

Pooja says that she buys a bag of flour every day to make loaves for stray animals in Shimla and then during the curfew exemption, she goes out towards Shimla's ridge maidan, Lakkad Bazaar and Mall Road where she feeds monkeys and dogs.

Apart from Pooja's brother, his friends also help her in this initiative. Also, she has also appealed to everyone to feed stray animals.
