Himachal Pradesh CM Jai Ram Thakur said: "As per latest information, 23 people have been rescued successfully while 2 people died including an Army jawan. All injured were immediately shifted to nearby hospitals."
"The NDRF team from Panchkula have reached the spot and medical teams have also reached the spot. Rescue operations is underway. I hope within next few hours rescue operations will conclude. Proper investigation will be done," he further added.

BJP working president JP Nadda said, "A building has collapsed in Solan, Himachal Pradesh in which some army personnel are also trapped. I spoke to the Chief Minister of the State, Jai Ram ji for relief operations. He is personally monitoring the incident."

The building that collapsed in Kumarhatti was a 'Dhaba'.
As many as 30 Army men and seven civilians were present at the spot.
A total of 22 people including 18 Army men have been rescued till now.
The rescue operation is underway.
Meanwhile, 14 people are still are feared trapped under the debris of the building.

Multi-storey building collapses, 25 fear trapped in HP
Solan: At least 25 people are feared trapped under the debris of a multi-storey building which collapsed on Himachal Pradesh's Kumarhatti-Nahan road on Sunday.
The rescue team reached the spot immediately after the incident.
According to sources, Indian Army jawans are also trapped under the debris of the building.
Relief work is being affected due to continuous heavy rainfall.
