Shimla: People of Majyath ward are angry over not getting NOC for building ambulance roads. On Thursday, hundreds of people reached Tutu railway station and demonstrated against the Northern Railway. People had reached the station to stop the goods train, but the railway had already stopped the goods train behind. During this time, elderly women and children also sat on the railway track.
The people of the ward have warned to stop the rail and protest in the coming days if the demands are not met. Councillor of Majyath ward, Diwakar said that for a long time the people of the ward have been demanding No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Railways to build the ambulance road, but the Railways is not approving it. Due to non-fulfilment of demand for years, the people of Ward are angry and are expressing their anger by stopping the rail.

About 90 percent of the people of Majyath ward are still denied ambulance roads. Due to the lack of road, people have to reach the main road by carrying patients on their back.
Railway land has to be used to build an ambulance road in the ward, for which NOC of the railway is necessary. But despite repeated correspondence, the railway is not giving the NOC.
The people of the ward say that if the railway does not accept their demands soon, then in the coming time they will completely block the rail tracks and will not allow any train or goods train to go to Shimla.
