13-year-old from Himachal builds smart washroom

Sudiksha of Hamirpur has done such work at a young age, which is being discussed everywhere. Sudiksha Thakur (13), a student of class VII of Hamirpur district, has given the concept of the smart washroom. The special thing about this concept of Sudiksha is that it has a combination of both Indian and Western restrooms. This washroom will be ready in a very small space.

Hamirpur (Himachal Pradesh): Increasing population and lack of land is a widespread problem in cities. Utilizing every inch of land in the construction of a house is nothing short of a challenge. It is important to build rooms, halls, kitchens, dining rooms and washrooms in the construction of the house.

How to make all of these in a fixed measure and their length and breadth has to be given special attention. To tackle the challenge of the space, Sudiksha Thakur (13), a student of class VII of Hamirpur district, has perfected the concept of the smart washroom.

Both Indian and Western restrooms in smart washrooms

In this model, special care has also been taken for cleanliness along with options. The Indian toilet seat is considered more hygienic than the Western toilet seat. In such a situation, the importance of this smart bathroom increases further as both options are present in it.

Sudiksha Thakur has been selected for this model at the national level under the Inspire Standards Scheme. Sudiksha is a student of class VII in a private school and her father Sanjeev Thakur is a teacher in a government school.

Washing machine and mini geyser in toilet flush itself

Sudiksha has provided the facility to use squat toilet sheets on the lines of European toilet sheets, mini washing machines and hot water in a small bathroom area of 16 sq ft through the model.

A frame has been installed on the wall with a smart toilet squat toilet sheet. This frame can be used as a European sheet according to convenience. The entire area of the washroom can also be used for bathing and washing clothes by placing a lid on the squat toilet sheet.

Smart washroom model works for metro city

Sudiksha also says that where there is a shortage of space in Metro City, this model can prove to be effective there. Sudiksha's father is a science teacher and he is very happy with his daughter's achievement. Prior to this, his elder son East has also represented the state under this scheme at the national level.

Smart Washroom Model topped with Inspire Standard Award

Giving information, district science supervisor Sudhir Chandel said that the model of smart washroom has also topped the state level Inspire Standards Award after the district. Now, this model of initiation has been selected for the national level competition.

Small size bathrooms are enough for everyday work

In the model, the mini washing machine also has a rotating wheel for washing clothes and filament in flush for hot water. Also, it has been shown in this model that in small-sized bathrooms, people can do everyday bathing and washing clothes.
