Protesting farmers in BJP-ruled Haryana has marched to Delhi breaking blockades at several places across the state. For nearly three months, farmers have been up against laws which the Centre has called "historic reforms" in the farm sector. The laws, the government said, would help farmers increase their income and free them from the interference of middlemen.

Haryana: In protest against the three agricultural laws of the central government, farmers have once again hit the roads. Farmers from Haryana and Punjab are travelling to Delhi to protest.

In view of this, the Haryana government had sealed the Punjab and Delhi borders.

The farmers broke the police barricades at several places and marched towards the national capital.

In Ambala, the Punjab border was buzzing all day long. There was a crowd of farmers on GT Road everywhere.

In Haryana, the farmers are being led by Gurnam Chaduni, President of the Indian Farmers Union.

When the police tried to stop farmers in Ambala, theY broke through the barricades and proceeded forward.

Police used water cannons but there was no effect on the farmers. Bypassing all the blockades of the police, the farmers moved towards Delhi.

In addition to Ambala, farmers in Kurukshetra also broke three police blocks and moved towards Delhi.

In view of this indignation of the farmers, it is clear that now the farmers are in the mood for a complete face-off battle with the government. Farmers travelling towards Delhi have come with complete preparation and even carrying ration and water with them.

This shows that stopping the farmers can prove to be a tough task for the government.

In several districts across the state, farmers are protesting outside the Deputy Commissioner’s Office so that the rest of the farmers reach Delhi in any way possible.

The anger of the farmers was not only seen in Ambala; but after the arrest of the farmer leaders on Monday and Tuesday, there have been protests in many districts of Haryana.

Police have arrested over 70 leaders from across Haryana.

The Manohar Lal Khattar government does not only have to deal with the farmers but it also has to also deal with the opposition parties who are also supporting the farmers.

State President of the Indian National Lok Dal, Nafe Singh Rathi opposed the arrest of the farmers; meanwhile, former CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Randeep Surjewala also took a dig at the Manohar government.

Haryana Congress Legislature Party Deputy Leader and MLA Aftab Ahmed, has targeted the state government and the central government, saying that this government only knows how to persecute the farmers.

He said that before this incident, the farmers were beaten up mercilessly in Pipli.

"If the farmers want to come to Delhi peacefully, then why they are being stopped? This government is suppressing the voice of the farmers," he said.

Kiran Chaudhary, former Congress Legislature Party leader and MLA from Tosham expressed displeasure over the arrest of farmers.

While targeting the government, Kiran Chaudhary said that farmers are being arrested without arrest warrants which clearly shows the dictatorship attitude of the government.

BJP leaders are also making counter-attacks on the opposition parties. BJP MP from Kurukshetra Nayab Saini, while pleading with the farmers, said that the fellow farmers should not come under the influence of opposition and should not take any action that would harm them.

He said about the farmers coming from Punjab that the CM of Punjab should tell the farmers that these three agricultural laws are in the interest of the farmers but the Congress Party is deliberately misleading the farmers.

BJP State President, Om Prakash Dhankhar has appealed to the farmers to be patient and he also said that the Punjab government is destroying the economy of Punjab and riding on the backs of farmers for their vested political interests.
