Sonipat (Haryana): A premature baby was found dumped in the hospital's dustbin in Haryana's Sonipat district.
As per reports, a woman gave birth to twins in the city's Patil Nursing Home. But due to being premature, one child died as soon as it was born, while the other was alive. As her weight was very less, the baby was dumped in the dustbin.
Upon seeing the infant suffering, a young man made her video and reported the matter to the police but the police did not take any action. It is alleged that after a complaint to the police again after about 22 hours, the baby was admitted to the General Hospital, where she died.
Speaking on the incident, Civil Line police station incharge Darpan Kumar said that he has received a complaint against Patil Nursing Home.
I have given a written complaint to the civil surgeon. Whatever report will be given by the doctors, action will be taken on the basis of that. The PMO of General Hospital, Dr Adarsh has told that a board has been formed after the complaint. We are looking into the matter and the investigation will be completed soon," said Kumar.
