Chotu Ram, who was a resident in Panjkhora of Haryana left his residence 20 years back after having an argument with his elder son. A police personnel acquainted with the case recognized Chotu Ram at Satsang Bhawan and informed his son.

Kurukshetra: A man who went missing twenty years back was reunited with his son after being found in Radha Swami Satsang near Bramha Sarovar in Haryana.

He was living in the refuge of 100 saints from last month amid lockdown.

Chotu Ram, who was a resident in Panjkhora of Haryana left his residence 20 years back after having an argument with his elder son.

Speaking to ETV Bharat, Chotu ram said: “I am a resident of Panjkhora in Ambala district, one of my sons lives in Panjkhora while the other resides in Spain. Twenty years ago I had left home after having an argument with my son. I attended a Satsang in Sirsa around this time. After that, I visited various other temples and religious places.”

Reportedly, Ram joined a Satsang after leaving his home and stayed for 17 years in Ganganagar of Rajasthan.

Amid lockdown, he was residing in Radhaswami Satsang as travelling is prohibited.

Meanwhile, Ram’s son staying in Spain inquired police always about any development in the missing case.

The police personnel acquainted with the case recognized Chotu Ram at Satsang Bhawan.

The FSI Subhash Chand said: “Many saints arrived during lockdown to stay at the Satsang Bhawan. I had prior knowledge about Chotu ram’s missing case. I befriended him and then he told me his story after which my doubt was cleared.”

FSI Subhash Chand informed Chotu Ram’s son residing in Spain and the other volunteers and they connected father and son through a video call.

Chotu Ram’s son showed gratitude towards Radha Swami Satsang and appealed them to make arrangements to send his father to their residence in Panipat.

The son assured to take care of all the documentary proceedings that might arise for sending his father.
