Haryana: Upset over being gifted a BMW by his parents instead of a Jaguar, as demanded by him, a youth from Haryana's Yamunanagar on Friday pushed his new car into a swollen river.
The residents of the area, reportedly, alerted the district administration about the incident.
"When the youth was pushing the high-end BMW car into the river, he also shot a video and posted it on social media," said a police official.
The car, however, got stuck in the middle of the river owing to a patch of tall grass preventing it from drowning any further.
Later, the youth was also seen trying to get the car out of the river with the help of local divers as well as a team of State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and state police.

Meanwhile, police have registered a case in the matter.
