New Delhi: The BJP on Thursday fielded TikTok video star, Sonali Phogat against Congress' sitting MLA Kuldeep Bishmoi from the Adampur constituency in Haryana.
Since the announcement, Sonali's videos are doing rounds on social media.
Phogat is a resident of Bhuthan in Fatehabad, Haryana. A fan of creating Tiktok videos, she is extremely active on social media.
Phogat has been an active member of the saffron party for years now, and has now been fielded against Bishnoi for the Haryana polls.
The Adampur constituency is largely located along the Haryana-Rajasthan border.

Kuldeep Bishnoi defeated Kulvir Singh Beniwal of INLD in this seat. In 2014, Kuldeep Bishnoi received 56,757 votes while Kulvir Singh Beniwal of INLD received 39,508 votes. Bishnoi defeated Beniwal by 17,249 votes.
Elections to the 90-member Haryana Assembly will be held on October 21 along with Maharashtra and results will be declared on October 24.
