Surat: Students along with their parents on Wednesday staged a protest outside the district education office (DEO) after Prabhat Tara School in Tadwadi of Rander area failed to get relief from the high court with regard to its derecognization by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB).

More than 40 students were affected as they were facing difficulties in getting hall tickets for class X and XII exams which will start from Thursday.

GSHSEB had found irregularities in the school following which it was derecognized in 2016.

DEO has also lodged an FIR against the school.

54 વિદ્યાર્થી બોર્ડ પરીક્ષાથી વંચિત, રાંદેરમાં વિદ્યાર્થી-વાલીઓની શાળામાં તોડફોડ

સુરત: બોર્ડની પરીક્ષાના દિવસે રાંદેર વિસ્તારમાં વાલીઓ શાળામાં તોડફોડ કરતા જોવા મળ્યા હતા. પ્રભાત તારા સ્કૂલની માન્યતા રદ્દ કરવામાં આવતા સ્કૂલના 54 વિદ્યાર્થીઓ બોર્ડની પરીક્ષાથી વંચિત થયા છે. તેઓને પરીક્ષા હૉલ ટિકિટ ન મળતા 24 કલાકથી રજુઆત કરી રહ્યા છે, પરંતુ યોગ્ય નિકાલ ન આવતા વાલીઓ ઉશ્કેરાઇ જતા વહેલી સવારે શાળા પહોંચ્યા હતા અને શાળામાં તોડફોડ કરી હતી. પ્રભાત તારા સ્કૂલની માન્યતા બોર્ડ રદ કરતાં વિદ્યાર્થીઓને પરીક્ષા આપી શક્યા નથી.

બોર્ડની પરીક્ષાના દિવસે એક વર્ષથી તૈયારીઓ કરી રહેલા સુરતના આશરે 54 વિદ્યાર્થીઓ આજે પરીક્ષા આપી શક્યા નથી. સ્કૂલની માન્યતા રદ્દ કરાતાં સ્કૂલના 54 વિદ્યાર્થીઓને પરીક્ષાની હોલ ટિકિટ મળી ન હતી જેના કારણે વિદ્યાર્થીઓ પરીક્ષા આપી શક્યા નહોતાં. જેથી ગુસ્સે ભરાયેલા વિદ્યાર્થીઓ અને વાલીઓએ આજે સ્કૂલ પર ધસી જઈ તોડફોડ કરી હતી. ગતરોજ વાલીઓ અને વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ જિલ્લા શિક્ષણધિકારીને રજુઆત કરતા રહ્યા તેમને આશા હતી કે કોઈ યોગ્ય નિકાલ આવશે અને પરીક્ષા આપવા દેવા તંત્રને અપીલ કરી હતી, પરંતુ અત્યાર સુધી કોઈ યોગ્ય નિકાલ ન આવતા વાલીઓ શાળામાં પહોંચી તોડફોડ કરતા નજરે આવ્યાં હતાં. બોર્ડ અને સ્કૂલના વિવાદ વચ્ચે 54 વિદ્યાર્થીઓના ભવિષ્ય સાથે ચેડા થયા છે.

જો કે વિદ્યાર્થીઓ અને વાલીઓ દ્વારા વિરોધના વિવાદ બાદ સ્કૂલમાં સંચાલકોએ તાળા લગાવી દીધા હતાં. જ્યારે અન્ય વર્ગના વિદ્યાર્થીઓને પણ સ્કૂલની બહાર ઉભા રાખવામાં આવ્યાં હતાં. ઉલ્લેખનીય છે કે, વર્ષ 2016માં શિક્ષણ વિભાગે સ્કૂલની માન્યતા રદ્દ કરી હતી. આ અંગે સ્કૂલના સંચાલકોએ વાલીઓને અંધારામાં રાખ્યા હતા. DEOએ સ્કૂલ વિરુધ્ધ પોલીસ ફરિયાદ પણ દાખલ કરી છે. આમ વાલીઓમાં રોષ જોવા મળી રહ્યો છે કે, આ અંગે શિક્ષણ વિભાગ શું કરશે કાર્યવાહી? વાલીઓનું કહેવું છે કે, સમગ્ર ઘટનામાં સરકાર જવાબદાર છે. જો સરકારે પહેલા પગલું ભર્યું હોત તો આજે તેમના બાળકોના ભવિષ્ય સામે અંધકાર ન આવ્યું હોત.
