Gujarat: The lions are considered to be a matter of pride in the country and a video which is surfacing on social media has come as a delight for all the wildlife lovers.

A rare scene was sighted in Gujarat’s Dhari-Una state highway where a lion was spotted drinking water from the roadside.

In the viral video, a lion can be seen quenching his thirst by drinking water from the roadside.

As the monsoon is in full swing and Gujarat has witnessed heavy rain, the roads have small ponds on either sides.

While the lion was quenching his thirst, the entire traffic stopped for 20 minutes to see the rare sight and captured this on their cameras.
